FREE WORLD ACADEMY (FWA)

1-MISSION STATEMENT

The Free world Academy is an international think tank committed to building freedom around the world. We aim to convert innovative concepts into individual initiatives.

11-We are involved in the defence of Freedom. Since September 11, 2001, the world has faced a threat based on ignorance, backwardness and dictatorship.

12-We want to extend personal freedom and economic opportunity to those who are deprived of them around the world. For this purpose, we have to challenge dated ideas that are yet prevalent in many regions of the world.

Compared to other major think tanks, we are clearly on the front line: consider figure 1.

FIGURE 1

In this environment, we cannot limit our researches to classical topics such as limited government, free market and tax policies. Although we respect conservative values, we must promote pioneer values, innovative concepts and sometimes, provocative solutions.

13-Our competitive advantage is to convert innovative concepts into creative solutions and educational tools dedicated to individuals. Consider figure 2.

FWA has set up an entrepreneurship program quite unequalled on the web. FWA is quoted among the main US think tanks by Wikipedia(USA). Click here

2-OBJECTIVES

We shall increase our influence through partnership with other think tanks and academics.

21-Short and medium term objectives:

-To frame public debate. Free world Academy wants to play a major role in the ideological contest in Europe and the Third World. We expect that other groups and politicians people will put our ideas into the public domain.

-To develop new practical tools to aid in the amelioration of social problems such as poverty, famine, etc.

22-Long term objectives:

-To aid in establishing online global learning systems to distribute secondary education in poor countries that cannot afford the cost of the current traditional, ineffective, and expensive programs offered by educational organization. Based on available technologies, these systems would channel our best values and provide the ultimate weapon against out dated ideologies and other negative beliefs.

The Organizations that launch these worldwide secondary education programs could certainly gain an advantage in the world competition.

4-STANDARDS FOR QUALITY

These general rules apply to the entire site:

41-About the content.

-Free World Academy is not a daily newspaper and we don't care about everyday event. We seek to go beyond the short term and we choose topics that may have enduring values. Moreover, we constantly update our main texts.

-Our surveys are based on a diagnosis which relies on facts that may be easily recognized. We avoid the worm book stuff and we favor the real observation. However, we use extensively data and stats. Then, through a multidisciplinary approach, we expect to discover the causes and to make findings. Finally, we formulate recommendations addressed to decision makers. Indeed, we are gaining the reputation to provide with innovative solutions.

-The authors believe in free speech and are independent of any public or private agency. In short, we favor innovative knowledge versus academic and cumulative old knowledge. What is more, we focus on experience and creativity. Consequently, each survey brings a thick layer of new knowledge. It means that you really get something new.

You may agree or disagree. The thinking process must remain an open range.

42-About the presentation

-Our texts are standardized with a numerated table just like the present paper. They contain many drawings to favor hyper learning and memorization.

-We use extensively data and stats. Most of the data regarding population and economy are taken from an unique and constant source: The World Bank. In calculating gross national income (GNI), the World Bank uses the Purchasing Power Parity data that takes into account the cost of a common basket of goods in the countries being compared. About technical definitions, go to:www.worldbank.org/data

Under our own responsibilities, we manipulate these figures to fabricate tables and drawings. Consequently, we do not specify the source of these tables since they are all the product of our own activity.

-For the reason exposed above, we do not provide a bibliography. We compress the existing academic knowledge and due to this digest, it becomes useless and quite impossible to provide with hundreds quotations.

-What is more, we are very serious with the copyright. We only refer to the available books and surveys on the Internet. As a result our surveys provide with many links.

-All our texts are written in global English to gain a world interest. Since english is not the native language of all of us, we apologize to our visitors for the wording and spelling problems that may appear.
